St. Luke’s Health System in Boise is seeking a Nutrition Center Technician to join our team!
Great foot in the door to the nutrition department!
Flex schedule to cover for extra shifts, vacations etc.
Must be open to variable schedule including days, evenings and weekends.
Wage – $17-19+ depending upon applicable experience.
Night and Weekend differentials offered
Responsibilities
Provide appropriately formulated aliquots of breastmilk, fortified breast milk, formulas and fortified formulas to the patient.
Monitor and order supplies as needed for the preparation and labeling of breast milk and formulas.
Order and stock inventory for the department.
Adheres to all food hygiene and health and safety requirements in order to meet regulatory and company standards.
Document preparation steps and care based on standards of practice.
Communicate accurate and pertinent information with patient, patient care providers and other members of the staff to facilitate effective and efficient patient care.
Handles basic issues using knowledge of procedures and policies. Refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Education: Associate’s Degree in Dietetics, Food and Nutrition, or related field or 2 years additional experience in lieu of degree
Experience: 2 years relevant experience
