THE POSITION:

At STACK, the Software Developer role is responsible for supporting the organization strategy by developing, testing, and maintaining our core set of applications. The Software Developer will use its creativity to design technical solutions responding to business requirements, and be a key contributor on major enhancements and projects. The Software Developer is responsible to support and maintain the current ecosystem of applications as part of the development team. Responsible for developing, testing, and deploying new NetSuite features, custom objects, and customizations.

Responsibilities:

• Effectively and promptly resolving application and script issues to minimize down-time to business processes.
• Develop and deploy backend processes in NetSuite supporting business requirements set forth by the business.
• Managing bundled integrations with platforms such as banking, financial, and document repository.
• Maintaining API connections to custom integration in the application ecosystem.
• Ensuring data integrity, modeling, and adherence to governance standards while deploying new features and functionalities.
• Collaborate with the rest of the IT organization to ensure proposed solutions align with business strategy, security standards, and technical environment.
• Prepare and maintain documentation related to the technical design of the solution.
• Comply with and help enforce standard procedures for Development documentation, version control, programming, and migration best practices.
• Support break-fix activities by troubleshooting, analyzing against business processes, and correcting accordingly.
• Own and manage enhancement requests from approved request to deployment.
• Active team members of large development projects, supporting environments in multiple global regions.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with internal staff, and external consultants, vendors and other stakeholders
• Ability to drive delivery of projects in a matrixed organization to a defined schedule and budget
• Collaboration, communication (both verbal and written), and organisational skills
• Ability to work on fast-paced, complex projects with tight deadlines
• Ability to understand all business requirements and processes and translate into deliverable tasks across various business units

THE DETAILS:

• Location: Denver, CO
• Travel: Minimal, less than 10%
• Compensation: $120,000 – $140,000 annually
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Must pass comprehensive background screening

MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2+ years of direct NetSuite or Salesforce development experience
• 4+ years of software development experience
• Experience and familiarity supporting SaaS / Web Services products
• Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Methods
• NetSuite Functional User or Administrator experience
• Modular JavaScript (AMD)
• XML and Freemarker

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• GIT version/source control Fundamentals
• Web Development, object-oriented, and event-driven Programming Concepts
• Data Center experience
• Bachelor of Science degree with a major in either Information Technology, Software Development, Computer Science, or related technology program
