About the Role

We are currently seeking a Communications Agent (Telephonist) to join our amazing Front Office team. This role is the first point of contact for all our guests when they call the Hotel and requires someone with a warm, professional, and friendly manner to help with inquiries.

Responsibilities include:

To act upon all guest’s inquiries regarding bookings, advanced and immediate, and to secure bookings or make a reservation where possible.

To assist with day-to-day administration pertaining to groups when necessary.

Assist all internal and external queries.

Attend all incoming calls in a professional and polite manner.

Maintains hotel standard procedures to ensure guests’ confidentiality and safety.

Maintain knowledge of the Hotel’s facilities and promotions.

Be flexible to assist with other duties as required.

Skills and Experience

Telephonist/Receptionist or administration experience

Confident telephone manner

Knowledge of the Hotel and what we offer guests

Computer literacy and accuracy are essential

A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences

Excellent communication skills with guests, management, and team members

Have an eye for detail

The successful applicant will also be flexible and be able to work a variety of shifts, including afternoon shifts and weekend shifts.
