About the Role
The Brand Partnerships team will identify companies and organizations to partner with for lead generation, investor acquisition and brand development. This is a highly visible role in a growing department, and includes sourcing and reaching out to new potential partners, negotiating terms of partnership deals, managing contract cycles, and closing partnership agreements.
This role will report directly to the Head of Brand Partnerships, but will work cross-functionally across the organization. They will work especially close with the director of lead generation and the sales team in order to identify the best partners to help StartEngine grow.
What You’ll Do
Take responsibility for the execution and integration of new partnerships.
Source, generate, and reach out to new potential partnership opportunities to help StartEngine reach more entrepreneurs and investors.
Understand and effectively communicate StartEngine’s value proposition and partnerships as they relate to the growth of current and prospective clients
Lead deal execution for partnerships, including performing industry and company research, analyzing company impact, building financial models and performing due diligence.
Close partnership agreements while properly balancing company goals, speed, and economic potential.
Evaluate the financial and non-financial benefits and risks of new partnerships.
Track, report, and optimize the performance of partnerships, including identifying issues as they arise, assessing possible solutions, and executing those solutions.
Collaborate with designers, marketers, and other relevant team members to make exceptional partnership collateral.
Develop and achieve monthly/quarterly goals and growth targets
Who We’re Looking For
You must be an energetic, proactive self-starter who is highly capable of identifying and executing the necessary steps needed to drive forward channel partnerships.
You must be extremely ambitious and proactive about achieving all goals and metrics.
Experience with and interest cultivating partnerships and referral programs
Experience with and interest in creating funnels for sales and marketing teams, including conversion tracking and optimization
Proven record setting contract terms, negotiating a term sheet, and closing deals
Ability to perform cold outreach and develop warm leads
Experience managing long-term relationships with external parties
Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholder expectations
