Job #4421 – Our client is looking for a Financial Administrator to join their established organization on a 4-month contract. The ideal candidate will be a team player who possesses strong organizational and communication skills and is comfortable working around the general ledger on a daily basis. The main responsibilities include:
- Process payments
- Prepare cheques, bank transfers/drafts, EFT’s and credit card transactions
- Post transactions to accounting system and maintain filing systems
- Address vendor inquiries and reconcile any discrepancies
- Complete monthly bank reconciliations and year-end processing tasks
- Assist with projects and audits as required
- Other duties as requested

Qualifications
Mandatory:
The main qualifications for this role include:
- Post-secondary education in accounting or finance
- Minimum 1+ years accounting experience in a similar role
- Excellent English interpersonal and communications skills, oral and written
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Ability to obtain reliability clearance
Definite Assets:
- Experience using Sage 300
- Arabic
How You Will be Rewarded:
- $65,000 – $72,000 annual salary (pro-rated)
- Vacation pay paid out
- Hybrid work schedule – 35 hours/week
