QA TESTER- Software Development

Storage360 is looking to hire an experienced, detail-oriented, and Agile QA Tester to join our development team based in Denver, CO (remote-capable).

This position earns an annual salary between $50,000- $65,000 based on experience and is bonus eligible. A DAY IN THE LIFE

As the QA Tester, you will help ensure the quality, stability, and accessibility of our software by collaborating with engineers and designers to ensure new functionality meets acceptance criteria. You will also help execute test cases documented by the Lead QA Tester, meaningfully contribute to discussions/approaches to coding changes to applications, and impact test plan creation and documentation structure.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A QA TESTER

• • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • 2+ years of experience REQUIRED with:
    • Documenting test cases and suites used in manual regression testing

• • Working in an Agile-like environment (preferably Scrum)
  • QA testing software (understanding the purpose and role of QA within the software development lifecycle)
  • Testing web-based applications (cross-browser and cross-device)
• Must be eligible to work permanently in the U.S.
• Must be able to work extended hours as needed (including nights and weekends) to occasionally support releases after hours and rare production emergencies

Experience with automated testing technologies and frameworks is preferred. Experience with User Acceptance Testing is also a plus. You should be skilled with defect documentation, have excellent written and verbal English skills, and be proficient with computers and typing. The ideal candidate is a team player who can adopt a “user” mindset from different points of view.

WORK SCHEDULE

This position is full-time and remote capable. Our typical office hours are between 8:30am – 6:00pm.
