Strata Company Looking for Senior Software Engineer at Conshohocken, PA Full Time

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Research and Development team. This team is focused on rapidly prototyping new products and bringing them to market. The team is currently working on a microservice based marketing automation application. The primary function of this position is developing new features and functionality for this application.

We’re looking for someone comfortable with change who enjoys diversity in their work – this position is expected to be full stack – you will be working with frontend tasks, backend tasks, and DevOps tasks. We’re a small team of highly collaborative and engaged developers and want someone who is motivated by challenge and eager to learn and implement new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code
• Work across multiple integrated microservice applications
• Work on enterprise-wide small and large complex projects; participate on project teams in a supporting role as needed, systems and data analysis, design, development, integration, and enhancement activities, as well as related maintenance and more complex production support
• Provide ongoing maintenance of client/server applications or tools, depending upon previous involvement with projects
• Interface and collaborate with non-technical stakeholders to ideate, design, and build complex web-based applications

Technical Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in programming/systems or computer science, specialized training, and at least 8 years of professional programming experience; or at an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Agile project methodologies
• A FARM Stack developer flexible to take on new technologies and methodologies:
• Test Driven Development oriented
• Python Fast API and background services
• Experience with other python frameworks is taken into consideration.
• MongoDb
• AWS
• Lambdas
• ECS
• S3
• CloudFront
• Route53
• Other cloud provider experience is taken into consideration
• React JS
• Worked with micro services for the last 3+ year
• Containerization and DevOps skills are a plus

Salary: $100,000.00 – $130,000.00 per year
