Administrative Assistant supporting our Producing Branch Manager

This is a support position that will require working full time hours, Monday through Friday in our downtown Chicago branch. Parking is not provided so public transportation is highly encouraged. Please check our address and ensure you are comfortable with the commute – 900 N Franklin Street, Chicago.

Starting pay ranges between $18 – $21/hr DOE but also offers excellent potential for professional and financial growth!

What we have available:

The Administrative Assistant I supports the Branch Manager / Loan Officer. This is accomplished by executing administrative functions while following procedures and policies. They represent Summit Funding in a positive, professional and compassionate manner with all internal and external customers.

What you would be doing:

• Manage Branch Manager’s Calendar including scheduling and ensuring BM is sufficiently prepared and on time for appointments.
• Collecting data, generating reports, special projects and duties as needed.
• Coordinate services for events, such as facilities, catering, signage, displays, and printing. Arrange the availability of audio-visual equipment, transportation, hotel accommodations, and other event needs.
• Schedule and communicate meetings with Team Members and external individuals.
• Set-up and clean-up for meetings.
• Conduct post-event evaluations to determine how future events could be improved.
• Support Branch Manager with marketing and gifting programs, social media posts, flyers, etc.
• May, at times, assist the branch with unlicensed duties, including but not limited to:
• Perform initial setup of loan files in Encompass application.
• Respond to client inquiries or escalate to appropriate Team Member as needed.

What we need from you:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or equivalent years of work experience desired
• 1-3 years of work experience in customer service or marketing experience is a plus
• Ability to work Monday through Friday, 40 hours a week in our professional office
• Professional verbal and written communication skills
• World class customer service skills and a positive attitude
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and time management skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast paced, ever changing environment
• Stable work history a must
• MS Office skills
