THE MAILROOM MANAGER POSITION

Work at a fast-paced, growing construction software company that has modernized by using technology to send out 1000s of pieces of mail per month. SunRay Construction is looking for a Mailroom Manager at our store to help us with shipping of packages and receiving of mail.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED

• Mailroom experience (preferred), Not Required
• Exceptionally organized
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to new equipment & technology
• Enthusiastic, dependable, self-motivated, goal-oriented with a strong desire to succeed
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize and meet deadlines under pressure
• Highest commitment to customer service, development, and satisfaction
• General knowledgeable in mailroom operations.
• Ensure mail/packages are received from couriers and processed correctly.
• Good computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Suite utilization; ability to operate mail meters and UPS computer station.
• Familiarity with USPS, UPS, and FedEx processes
• Ensure sorting of mail and labeling of accountable mail (USPS, UPS, FedEx) is completed correctly and in a timely manner.
• Ensure mail is delivered to designated mail stops and delivered to Post Office as scheduled.
• Metering of letters flats and parcels for out-going shipments.
• Develop required reports for submission to customer on a weekly basis.
• Good leadership skills.
• Work in unison with staff to coordinate all mailroom activities.
• Ability to compose a professional email
• Answer incoming and/or initiate verification calls in a polite, positive, and professional manner
• Data entry skills
• Fulfill customer requests in a timely manner.
• Possess excellent timely communication and inter-personal skills (verbal, written, and listening)
• Some lifting
• Valid Driver’s License
• Reliable Transportation
