Supply Source EnterprisesLocation: IPR Job Title: Manager of Global Sourcing, Supply Source Enterprises Location: Toledo, Ohio Date: March 22, 2022 POSITION SUMMARY: The Manager of Global Sourcing will manage all supplier relationships and sourcing responsibilities for Supply Source Enterprises with the primary focus on the Impact Jan/San product division. This dynamic individual will manage sourcing strategy, supplier selection for new and existing products, product cost of goods, cost reductions, etc. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: *Build the sourcing and supplier strategy for Supply Source Enterprises. Identify all Global Suppliers for new and existing products. *Manage the suppliers and supplier relationships. *Be the primary supplier interface between with the corporate Product Team and the suppliers. *Onboard New Suppliers and exit low performing suppliers. *Manage FOB Cost of Goods for New and Existing Products *Obtain Quotations from suppliers for New Products and Cost Savings Projects *Manage Initial Lead times for New Products. *Work with the Product team to identify suppliers that can provide new product innovations and new product development support. *Source “off-the-shelf” products and present to the Product Marketing team. *Negotiate Cost reductions *Manage supplier contracts. *Manage external sourcing teams (Soro) to help achieve sourcing goals. *Identify secondary global suppliers. *Lead and manage supplier assessments and supplier scorecards. *Actively participate and lead on new product development teams to support product development and product innovation activities. REPORTS TO: Chief Product Officer SUPERVISION GIVEN: None REQUIREMENTS / EDUCATION LEVEL & WORK EXPERIENCE: *BA or BS in Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent degree required. *Minimum of 5 years of Manufacturing and Sourcing experience. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY: *Strong communication, partnership, and analytical skills are required. *Experience and/or knowledge with manufacturing processes and injection molding is required. *Strong experience in building strong supplier relationships. *Experience with Asia and US Manufacturing, plastic molding, decorating, and packaging. *Experience with managing people, external teams, and suppliers. *Strong cross-functional collaboration and leadership skills. *Strong negotiating skills to achieve cost and lead-time reductions. *Entrepreneurial instincts – a high performer and self-starter. *Project management and leadership skills with an ability to collaborate with cross functional departments such as R&D, Manufacturing, Marketing and Quality. *Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills. *Must be a positive, energetic team player, and an advocate for manufacturing and product excellence. *Excellent computer skills, including Word, Excel and Power Point. Will be required to type reports and enter data into a desktop computer. *Excellent verbal / written communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to interface with internal and external contacts at all levels. Ability to clearly communicate technical and non-technical information via verbal presentations and in writing. *Excellent organizational, prioritizing and follow up skills. *Ability to think and act independently and make sound decisions. *Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
