Basis: Location: Sutton – Start date 22-09-2022 – 06-07-2022 – Thursdays – 19:00 -21:30

Salary: Tutor scale £25.09 -£35.22 depending on qualifications and experience

Details: We are looking for skilled industry professionals who are passionate about jewellery making and want to share this skill with our learners who are of different ages, genders and backgrounds. Courses run during the daytime, evenings and weekends. Teachers accept the courses that fit with their lifestyles. We deliver qualifications with both NCFE and City and Guilds. Those employed to teach on accredited courses will be expected to acquire the relevant knowledge of these qualifications before starting their employment. Accredited courses range from entry level 1 to level 2. If you apply to teach on a non-accredited course, you will be expected to develop your own course structure with support from your line manager. All materials are provided for learners and teachers on our accredited courses.

It is not mandatory for you to have a teaching or industry qualification. You must have a minimum of 3 years industry experience working in a workshop, or teaching environment. You will also be required to achieve at least the level 3 Award in Education and Training within the first year of being employed at the college if you do not currently hold a teaching qualification.
