You’ve sold licenses and hit your quota at market research, marketing and/or technology companies before. You know what it takes to work with inquisitive, innovative buyers – and you’re excited about transforming ideas into insights for some of the biggest brands in the world.
Own and perform full-life cycle sales from prospecting through close.
Recommend solutions to prospects based on their research requirements, prepare and present proposals, prepare contracts and manage the process through contract execution.
Collaborate with leadership and other subject matter experts in the sales cycle of key accounts in order to maximize resources while identifying the best paths to win business.
Determine prospect needs while managing sales objections with a consultative selling approach.
Deliver effective product demos to an audience of individuals from market research practitioners up through the decision making C-Suite.
Log sales activity (prospecting, opportunities, revenue, and next steps) in Salesforce.com and keep all systems accurate and up to date
Solid knowledge of MR/ResTech industry trends, technological and process changes, new developments, services, etc
Proven track record of outbound success securing first meetings including prospecting strategies such as cold-calling, social, and email outreach.
Excellent time management skills and ability to balance work between outreach, meeting prep, follow up, pipeline management — understanding prioritization and intentional about where time is spent.
Understands that consistent, measurable input and output determine success in this role
Comfortable doing deep discovery to uncover needs to tailor the pitch to the client.
Experience working autonomously running your own book of business; you hold yourself accountable for hitting your goals
Experience creating and running a sales funnel, holding yourself accountable to your personal conversion metrics, and accurately forecasting deals
Clear confidence in uncovering and handling objections in order to close the deal.
