£30,497-£34,304 per annum (pro-rata if part time), together with USS pension benefits.
The normal expectation is that the successful applicant will be appointed to the minimum of the scale with annual increments on 1 October each year (subject to completing six months service).
Main purpose of the post
To deliver its sustainable top 30 ambition, Swansea University needs a professional services workforce with the differentiated skills necessary to ensure that it can deliver excellence through efficient and effective systems and processes that harness innovations in technology.
This individual will be responsible for student recruitment across identified markets (Home, EU, International) for the Faculty of Medicine, Health and Life Science, working in close collaboration with colleagues in the Recruitment, Admissions and Internationalisation environment, ensuring outcomes are aligned to the University’s strategic aim of becoming a Top 20 University. They will understand the imperative to meet the University’s stretching student recruitment targets in line with the University’s growth trajectories, identifying business risks and opportunities.
As a high performing Department, MRI is constantly improving and all MRI professionals are expected to engage in alternative roles in other areas of MRI or the wider University, for personal and professional growth or where it may be operationally required. To fully engage with the University’s Performance Enabling and Welsh language policies.
Terms and Conditions of Employment
Hours: 35 per week. (This is a full time post but applications from individuals seeking part time, job share or flexible working arrangements are welcome)
Annual leave: 31 days per annum plus Bank Holidays (pro rata for part time staff)
The salary will be on the Grade 7 salary scale for Academic and related Staff.
The appointment is subject to the General Terms of Appointment for Academic and related Staff.
