Warehouse and Inventory Support Role

We have a great opportunity for a well organised and motivated individual to join a dynamic group that is doing some exciting work in the construction industry and changing how things come together with modern technology.  

We are looking for a Warehouse and Inventory Support person to join our North Shore, Auckland based team, this is a full-time (40 hours a week), permanent position.  You will be joining our team in the Main Branch that is part of our National Group in an integral support position in our warehousing and logistics team.  

The key responsibilities of the role are: 
Ensuring that the Sales and Technical teams are supported in all areas of their requirements for inventory for key installations.

• Receipt and QC of inventory from suppliers.
• Assist with the administration of products in the stock management system, ensuring accuracy of information.
• Yearly & cyclical stock counts.
• Communicating with the Sales/Service team to resolve stock queries.
• Ensuring all documentation related to inventory flows is complete, accurate and filled out correctly for all suppliers.
• Responsible for accurate and timely stock transfers to our regional branches.
• Responsible for the maintaining a clean, tidy and organized warehouse.
• Assist with other administrative duties as required by the Inventory Manager.

There is a strong focus on inventory control within the role and handling the logistical requirements to ensure that the field teams are supported, and that client’s orders are managed effectively.

What we need from you:

• Previous stores/inventory experience, with a good understanding of warehousing process & operations.
• Previous experience of 5S would be advantageous.
• Forklift experience preferred but not essential
