System One is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support a design center in Omaha, NE. Ideal candidate will have experience in the engineering design of simple cycle power. Multiple positions available. Direct Hire positions.

The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for in the design office for completing routine engineering and design tasks of the electrical area of simple cycle plant design.

Electrical Engineer Responsibilities:

• Design, specify and recommend electrical systems for power plants and industrial facilities

• Interface with customer, suppliers and construction throughout design and construction phase

• Develop electrical schematics and wiring diagrams

• Design low voltage and medium voltage power distribution systems

• Develop electrical construction specifications

• Design review to assure adherence to applicable codes, standards, and project requirements

• Review of equipment submittals

• Coordination with design / drafting and other crafts to assure a complete, coordinated design

• Solving diverse and open-ended design problems facing industrial facilities

• Field work to verify existing conditions and to support construction

  Electrical Engineer Requirements :

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering

• 0-5 years of experience in the power generation design/engineering

• Passed FE

• Proficient with Engineering and Computer Software (MS Office, AutoCAD, 2D &/or 3D CAD,

• Experience with SKM Power Tools and/or ETAP

• Understanding, acceptance and adherence of company policies and procedures, including all business objectives and goals

• Willingness to travel to customer plants and construction sites

• Capable of passing safety training for various industrial clients and comply with OSHA 10 requirements for customer sites and walk throughs
