Job Title: Junior Game Designer (Game Scripter)

Location: Remote (USA)

Compensation: $34.00/hr

About this Position:
You will work closely with the Design and Product team to execute and deliver an assortment of live service updates, sales, promotions and events across our 60+ games and sitewide meta. We are looking for someone who is creative and has a passion for the casual games market. We are looking for someone who can concept, execute, and deliver fun casual experiences. You will report directly to the Associate
Design Director and will have some interaction with other leads and team members.

What You Will Do

• Utilizing and development tools, you will be responsible for the

implementation/configuration of the following based on guidance and direction from Design and Product:
o Recurring content updates across a variety of games and genres
o In-game and site wide events
o Pogo Challenges and their accompanying rewards
o Promotions and sales
o MTX (power-ups, boosters, currency) catalog maintenance

• Assist in design feedback based on playtests, game metrics, team input, and community feedback.
• Be resourceful and solve problems using the tools and time/scope available.
• Communicate and collaborate with all team disciplines, including artists, designers, engineers, and producers.
• Coordinate multiple work streams in task execution and task management.
• Ramp up on designing and creating new levels across several different titles.

What You Bring

• 1-2 years experience, with a focus on titles in the casual/mobile market.
• Solid understanding of casual gameplay mechanics/systems and how it works into level design.
• A passion for crafting amazing casual games & experiences!
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to learn new tools quickly.
• Evidence of work in an agile environment, negotiating live service deliverables.
• An organized and detail-oriented approach to design and authoring.
• Readiness to work with a globally distributed development team.
• Familiar with source control applications such as perforce.
