Project Outline:
Regulatory Project Management and Strategic Planning (RPM&SP) is accountable for the planning and execution of Takeda’s key global Health Authority filings by partnering cross-functionally, co-leading global regulatory teams (GRTs) and submission working groups (SWGs), creating & managing submission timelines, identifying project interdependencies, managing risks-actions-issues-decision (RAID), standardizing best practices and defining submission processes.
The remote internship will include an introduction to regulatory project management function with a unique opportunity to learn about project management tools to plan and strategize regulatory submissions. The internship will provide insights into leading and organizing cross functional meetings, learn to gather submission requirements, tracking of submission documents via document plans, partnering cross-functionally to track timelines, liaise with outsourced vendors to meet company standards and assist with inputting information in regulatory information management systems.
How you will contribute:
Project initiation, team meeting planning and execution assistance.
Regulatory Affairs activities related to various Health Authority submissions.
Exceptional interpersonal, verbal communication and writing skills.
Deadline-driven with an elevated level of organizational and planning skills.
Strong quantitative, analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills.
Proven record of accomplishment of teamwork, adaptability, innovation, initiative, and integrity.

Requirements / Qualifications:
Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Currently authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Takeda does not provide sponsorship for internship positions.
Available to work full-time (40 hours per week), within the core business hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm, for 10-12 weeks during the summer months.
Undergraduate, Graduate, PhD, MD student with completion of a minimum of one year of university studies.
Must be enrolled in school the semester following your internship with Takeda.

The hourly pay rate range is $20.00 per hour – $46.00 per hour. The final pay rate offered for this internship may consider several factors including, but not limited to, location, skills, education, and experience.
