Job Summary

Packers are responsible for efficiently hand packing okra into jars. This is a production position that offers multiple pay incentives for high production and attendance. No previous experience necessary, will train. 35-40 hours a week Monday – Friday early as 7:00 am as late as 3:45 pm. Call 325-655-6077 ext 301 with any questions.

Requirements

• Good hand-eye coordination with fine motor skills are essential for job tasks
• Complete assigned work duties efficiently while maintaining product quality and safe work practices (FDA regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices)
• Comply with all company policies, guidelines and regulatory requirements
• Sustain an acceptable attendance record, working all scheduled hours and occasional adjusted hours to accommodate production.
• Be a team player by supporting team members and contributing to the successful manufacturing of our high quality, gourmet pickled food product.

Qualifications

• Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Able to work 7:00 am to 3:45 pm
• Ability to follow directions with little or no supervision.
• Demonstrated reliable attendance and performance

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to communicate, observe and comprehend job requirements and safety practices.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Often required to move about the production floor performing required tasks.
• Frequently required to lift 15 to 20 pounds.
• Often required to push/pull, reach and grasp.

Working Conditions

• The physical warehouse environment requires the employee to work inside in varying temperatures (65°F to 90°F).
• The noise level is moderate to loud (70 to 80 dB) during production hours.
