About the role

Talley’s has an exciting opportunity for a keen and motivated Retail Account Executive to join the team and support their retail business throughout New Zealand and Australia. You will be a crucial support team member and make a positive contribution to the retail team.

Reporting to the Australasian Retail Sales Manager the scope of this key support role is broad and varied. You will provide assistance with the day-to-day management of all accounts including monitoring stock, price updating, and promotional planning across retail accounts. You will also have day-to-day communication with various stakeholders across retail accounts and assist with a variety of key administrative tasks to support the growing retail business.

Ideally, the role will be based in Motueka but we are open to discussing other locations for the right person.

Qualifications

Who are you?

To be successful in this role you’ll have great communication skills, excellent organisation skills and the ability to multitask under pressure. You’ll thrive working in a busy and dynamic environment and your consistently helpful and responsive approach will mean you build positive and productive working relationships both internally and externally. This is also a role where getting the details right is important, so you will bring strong numerical accuracy and great attention to detail.

You will also need the ability to build strong verbal and written relationships both internally and externally and the role will suit someone who truly values relationships and adding value.

You will be a self-starter with a positive and adaptable attitude who is hard working, and reliable. Excel skills are required, and experience with Nielsen data would be helpful but is not essential. Likewise, FMCG or grocery experience would help you hit the ground running, but we are open to industry background.
