The Role
As an IT Support Engineer, you will be joining a team built on collaboration and communication, focused and motivated to deliver excellent services and support. The team is responsible for troubleshooting incidents ranging from priority 1 to priority 5 and service requests.
This is a unique opportunity where you will be giving the opportunity to work within a healthcare environment, wide range of technologies and systems, which includes a continuous service improvement mindset. No medical experience is required.
Key responsibilities:
Intake incidents/service requests via web, e-mail, or phone.
Create cases/tickets with appropriate details.
Manage customer communications and following up for case closure.
Coordinate with Level 2 or Level 3 groups.
Update cases and customers on the progress of their cases.
Troubleshoot systems/applications to detect issues or root cause.
Your Profile
Key skills/experience:
Strong understanding of Windows Servers 2008, 2012, and 2016.
Ability to understand application workflows / components.
Effective at triaging database related issues using MySQL.
Good understanding of Linux Server environment.
Proven strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated and willingness to learn.
Proven ability to work well with technical and non-technical staff across numerous areas.
Good to have:
Degree or Certificate in I.T. or related discipline preferable.
ITIL certifications.
Experience in support services.
