Oyster Season – Openers and Counter/Packers and General Hands Wanted!

Ngāi Tahu Seafood is kin the lookout for team members to work the 2024 Oyster season starting from the beginning of March.

You’ll form part of hardworking dedicated team, helping supply the iconic bluff oyster to our domestic market.

He Kōrero Mōu – About You

• Experience in opening preferred, but also want people who are willing to LEARN (full training provided)
• Must be able to work on some weekends.
• Have reliable transport to and from the Bluff Plant
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug & alcohol test.

Ko tā mātou mahi – We Offer

Openers

• Guaranteed 22 hours per week (40 hours max)
• Non-opening rate of $26 per hour
• Opening rate $1.00 per doz
• Attendance allowance $25.00 per day
• Tool allowance

Counter / Packer / General Hands

• Starting rate of $26 per hour
• Guaranteed 25 hours per week (40 hours max)
• Attendance allowance $21.83 per day
