Ngāi Tahu Tourism are seeking a dynamic and experienced Transport Operations executive to join our vibrant and growing business!
This new role will be based in either Christchurch or Queenstown (the heart of adventure tourism for Aotearoa!) and will be responsible for providing a shared group resource focused on the training, recruiting, development and monitoring of all drivers for Ngāi Tahu Tourism.

Ideally, we are seeking a person with knowledge of the tourism sector as well as prior leadership and management from within the transport sector. You’ll be comfortable working with a variety of passenger vehicles and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Reporting to GM Tourism, you will oversee driver recruitment and implement training across the range of company vehicles within the above businesses, foster high performing and engaged teams as well as ensuring all Health and Safety practices are adhered to at all times.
To be successful in this role, we require you to have experience driving passenger vehicles of Class 2 or larger, hold a current Class 2 and P-Endorsement licence, have previous experience in managing E-road or other driver monitoring systems would also be advantageous. Project management skills, strategic vision and having a high attention to detail are all integral requirements of this dynamic position.
