Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity Principal Advisor – Telehealth
Join the Community Health System Improvement and Innovation team as Principal Advisor – Telehealth. Working to support the National Telehealth Service you will provide strategic and operational advice at a senior level. This role will see you giving sound policy, and analytical advice, as well as guidance on programme commissioning, design and delivery.
The Principal Advisor – Telehealth’s Thought Leadership will be key in the future direction of The National Telehealth Service, supporting the delivery of the Government’s and Te Whatu Ora’s priorities and objectives.
Having strong relationship and contract management skills is essential for this role, as the Principal Advisor will be driving system performance and outcomes. The ability to work with contracts and providers, setting expectations and monitoring results will be a focus. This role will see you facilitating discussions and brokering between Te What Ora and the Telehealth provider.
The day-to-day will involve problem solving, attending hui, working with government processes, collaborating with externals and other agencies, and monitoring and reporting on system performance.

You are an experienced facilitator, relationship manager and senior level Advisor. Past roles have seen your influencing outcomes, managing large and complex programmes of work and providing thought leadership across an organisation. You are confident in leading change and using data and analysis to inform decision making.
