What to Expect
MailOps is currently seeking a skilled USPS Mail Associate for our Global Workplace Team in Fremont,
CA. Candidates with prior mailroom experience is required! This dedicated individual will have the
following attributes: detailed-oriented, possess a high sense of urgency, strong organizational skills, strong
communication skills. Must take pride in their work and want to become a subject matter expert. Ideal
candidate will be responsible for making a significant contribution to our mailroom and site activities. Being
proactive, thorough, timely and able to think on your feet are all keys to success in this role.
What You’ll Do
Receive USPS mail and packages delivered to mailroom.
- Sort USPS mail using various Tesla internal reference guides.
- Distribute time sensitive material to correct recipients both on-site and off-site.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of mail sorting.
- Redistribute mail to necessary departments in a timely manner.
- Accurately scan necessary letters to internal customers.
- Effectively manage urgent email or message requests.
- Build and maintain business critical relationships.
- Maintain site appearance.
- Communicate effectively with users across various levels of the company.
- Communicate with management to ensure optimal operational efficiency.
- Thrive in a fast paced every changing environment.
- Pack and label outbound shipping requests.
What You’ll Bring
Previous shipping and receiving and customer service experience in a mailroom environment
preferred.
- Data entry experience. Must be comfortable using modern technology: laptops, scanners, etc.
- Possess a “get it done” attitude and an urgency to resolve problems/tasks.
- Have a strong sense of urgency.
- Strong organizational skills are a must.
- Ability to lift to 20 lbs.

- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve with little supervision.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work well as part of a team is mandatory.
- Good organizational and interpersonal skills.

- A commitment and adhere to prescribed safety rules and guidelines.
- Must have command of the English language, both written and verbal.
- Able to perform repetitious duties while standing for extended periods.
- Able to work above and beyond 40 hours a week when pre-approved by Tesla management.
