Programs AssistantOVERVIEW: This is a great opportunity to join our team of igniters for local businesses, entrepreneurs, and community development. The Programs Assistant will provide excellent customer service with internal and external customers. This position is the first line of communication within the company and the right candidate must act in a highly professional and enthusiastic manner. This position provides general administrative support to Operations and other program leaders.This position must successfully manage multiple responsibilities in a collected, professional manner, and solve problems efficiently and creatively.i Candidates must live within the TAF operating area.i Position may have some flexibility in office hours and/or blend of remote and onsite hours.ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT OF PROGRAMS:i The Programs Assistant assists Directors and Program Managers by:Assess and solve problemsInvolved in process and systems development and improvementAssist with monitoring and uploading program applications as well as related trackingCreate documents, newsletters, and other communication materials per program managers Assists in monitoring program and group emails Assist in creating and/or print documents, manuals, promotional materials, etc. Assist with project research and implementationTake and/or type meeting notes as requestedOutreach contacts with program participants, volunteers, donors, partners, etc.Assist with agendas and documentation as needed.Accurately completing ongoing data entry Creating and updating Excel documentsAssist with fundraising tasks and outreachGeneral offices duties such as answering phone, receiving mail, maintaining office areas, supplies requests, etc.Some nights and weekends hours may be required on occasionOther duties as assignedEducation and/or Experience:High School Diploma or GED required. Office experience with multitasking and self-motivation highly preferred.Required Skills:i Must be proficient in and/or have these skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft programsPublisher (preferred)Excellenti written and verbal communicationMust be able to work independently and collaboratively with teamSelf-starter who is able to balance multiple projects simultaneouslyInternet and general computer skillsSocial media knowledge / experience (preferred)Experience with Non Profit Database/CRM programs (such as KINDFUL) is a plus
