The Atlas Hotel Looking for Server at Regina, SK Full Time

We are looking to hire a new server for our onsite restaurant, DISH! We would like to have someone who has hospitality running through their veins. (Not literally, if you do, you might have to go check that out.) But seriously, we want someone who would enjoy talking to our friendly business clients, but also greets a family with three busy children with enthusiasm and a smile. It is important to be outgoing, confident, flexible, friendly, and have the ability to prioritize tasks when needed.

We are looking for one server who is available to work in the early mornings serving our guests the most important meal of the day. An early riser is a must as majority of our restaurant servers are needed exclusively for our busy breakfast service (don’t worry, you get free coffee refills for your shift). Open availability is preferred, however weekend availability is a must.

The successful candidate also must be over the age of 19, speak English, and have the Serve It Right Certificate. Multiple years of experience are not required, however, 6 months to 1 year would be beneficial. Here are a few of the job duties for the server position:

Greet guests, present menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding our menu offerings

Take orders and relay to the kitchen team

Serve menu items

Present bill and accept payments

Roll cutlery and prepare items for next shift

Running room service to guests staying at the hotel

Serving and setting up for functions in our Event spaces

Setting up tables for functions and reservations
