Main Purpose and Function
As a Business Analyst – Parking Innovation you will be an integral part of delivering key capital projects across the Engineering department. You will be contributing toward transformational initiatives in innovative solutions for curb management, and parking planning and operations.
You will be engaging with internal stakeholders to conduct requirements workshops, and process evaluation and optimization. You will also work with third party vendors to procure, configure, and integrate core solutions. A key responsibility will be to lead the development of a conceptual integration model between vendor solutions cloud or to internal hosted solutions and work closely with technical staff to deploy and test these integrations. You will lead the User Acceptance Testing process for new solutions, such as License Plate Recognition for bylaw enforcement. You will work with a variety of stakeholders on change management support and training strategy for new solutions.
Reporting to the Branch Manager of Engineering Strategy and Standards (ESS), the BA will be able to work independently in an agile environment within a defined scope of objectives and deliverables. This will involve close collaboration with the project managers and technical staff from Technology Services Department (TS), engineers, subject matter experts, other internal stakeholders, and external vendors.
