Marketing & PACS Services (MPS) is one of the critical service hubs.
The Global Senior Manager, Business Performance Analytics, is part of the Marketing Analytics Team (MAT) within MPS. You will play a critical role in building transformational Enterprise Analytics products while delivering scaled adoption and driving a culture of data fluency.
Within the Business & Marketplace Performance Domain in MAT, you will lead the development of comprehensive analytics solutions and provide critical strategic support to the Senior Leadership Team. You will collaborate closely with Marketing Data Services to ensure effective execution of outlined roadmaps and adoption plans.
Key Responsibilities:
Advance the Market Share Analytics Roadmap:
Direct the development and dissemination of monthly industry estimates and insightful analyses.
Champion and collaborate with your domain on the Total Share Performance framework.
Design solutions to analyze the competitive landscape across markets and categories effectively.
Analyzing the Future:
Oversee forecasting processes for both short-term and long-term operational needs.
Provide guidance for the implementation of forecasting best practices across the organization.
Evolve current ecosystem to be more action oriented by enabling more prescriptive analytics solutions.
Business Performance Optimization:
Spearhead the enhancement of global business performance routines, models, and tools.
Ensure effective communication of key findings to senior leadership and relevant stakeholders within TCCC.
What You’ll Do for Us:
Work with the Business & Marketplace Domain (Strategy & FP&A) teams to understand business questions, clarify briefs, develop an approach to develop analytics through dashboards & frameworks.
Identify and create new analytics solutions against key business questions.
Contribute to a deep integration of marketing, commercial and customer activities through the development of integrated analytics that holistically assess our business performance for our brands from consumers & shopper needs to channel/customer activation.
Play a key role delivering support to key business challenges through analytics.
Lead analysis utilizing TCCC standard constructs e.g., Share Decomposition, Industry Forecasts.
Partner with the Marketing Data team to support in managing external partnerships.
Lead a team of retainers.
BUSINESS REPORTING / DASHBOARDS + SCORECARDS
Lead development and delivery of the Category Monthly Routines and Quarterly Deep Dives.
Optimize and manage routines, dashboards, and scorecards.
Migrate & scale current and new reports into Power BI for increased accessibility/usage and flexibility.
Act as MAT ambassador, addressing training and driving the adoption of existing tools through SIMON platform.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Functional Skills:
Data Storytelling – Simplicity is Key: Ability to simplify and persuasively communicate complex data into actionable insights to non-experts and cross-functional business stakeholders in a way that fosters action.
Deep knowledge of statistical techniques and tools for generating consumer insights and data exploration. Familiarity with multivariate data exploration techniques, econometrics/ROI analytics, and experimental design & interpretation
Excellence in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI is required. Experience with and working knowledge of statistics packages (R, SPSS, Python, SAS, etc.) and data manipulation (SQL, etc.). Mastery of basic reporting and data visualization using appropriate software.
Independent & Outward Focused Point of View: Knowledge of the external environment in which the Company’s business is conducted. Includes ability to offer a broad perspective that extends beyond a functional discipline and draw upon knowledge that comes from frequent interaction with different departments, employees and sources and constituencies outside of the Company.
Network/Resources: Ability to develop diverse network/resources to leverage “best in class” knowledge, approaches, and processes.
Advantage: TCCC system knowledge is helpful.
Related Work Experience: Minimum of 8 years of work experience, FMCG analytics expertise. The required focus is on the relevance of the recent work you have done as it pertains to this role. You need to demonstrate to have experience working across teams and geographies in a complex, global environment leading or leveraging teams of internal and external resources. Experience in a regional or global role preferred. Ideally you will have worked in roles that have developed both strategic and operations capability.
Education Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree required; Master Degree preferred.
