The Dog Academy specializes in breeding high-end Labrador Retrievers, as well as running a virtual dog psychology and behaviour modification seminar every two months.

NOT a boring office job! This will be one of the most diverse jobs you could hope for, with room to expand to full office manager. Plus, you get to work around dogs and puppies and say hello to the horses whenever you want.

Our client is a dog breeder and trainer. His ranch is home to 15-20 dogs at any given time, along with two beautiful horses. He is a great communicator and likes to make the workplace fun.

The right candidate is hungry to learn, good with animals, very coachable and open to mentoring. Third-party coaching and mentorship is generously made available to you to improve and master your craft while preparing you for more responsibility.

General responsibilities include:

Responsibilities

• Handle and coordinate shared calendars
• Interface with new puppy parents, training clients, vendors, and the general public
• Screen potential new puppy parents
• Ensure file organization based on office protocol
• Provide ad hoc support around office as needed
• Occasionally feed animals and provide water

Qualifications

• 1-5 years of administrative experience
• Strong interpersonal, customer service and communication skills
• Critical thinking/problem solving skills
• Emotional intelligence
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
• Apple Mac experience an asset
