The Ford Store Morgan Hill is seeking a Shop Dispatcher to join our team!
The Dispatcher organizes and controls the flow of service work through the service department in a professional, timely manner. Will work closely with Shop Foreman and Service Manager daily to ensure processes are being followed by technicians to maximize technician productivity and shop flow. We currently have 28 Technicians, 6 Service Advisor and 2 Mobile service vans in operation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Dispatch work to technicians and assist in various ways to ensure efficient and maximum workflow of the service department.
• Maintains constant communication with the ASM’s on shop workload, availability and vehicle status
• Review appointment load needed with Service Advisors
• Review parts and authorization holds daily
• Review technician cause and corrections on repair orders
• Coordinate predelivery inspections and new car delivery prep
• Monitor and coordinate completion of used cars in the shop
• Delegate and monitor shop equipment

REQUIREMENTS:

• Good organizational skills
• Good time management skills
• Valid driver’s license

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $28.00 per hour
