SCOPE:

The position of an Operations Support Specialist is to support the CCL Operations Business Planning team. Under the guidance of the Staff Engineer, Operations Business Planning, this position is responsible for coordinating and providing support to Operations as it relates to Strategic Planning, Business Planning, Performance Management, Project Controls, budgeting, and reporting in the delivery of business objectives and attainment of key performance targets for safety, compliance, and production. All activities will be delivered while maintaining the client’s core values; teamwork, respect, accountability, integrity, nimble, and safety.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Under the guidance of the Staff Engineer, Operations Business Planning:

• Analyze processes, recommend process improvements, and support implementation
• Contribute to the development of Business Planning processes, tools, and templates

• Coordinates delivery of site reports inclusive of monthly site governance report, weekly report, daily reports, and all associated performance metrics.
• Leads the execution of the Action Tracking program and coordinates delivery of site reports inclusive of Action Tracking reporting.
• Assist in facilitating the development of annual departmental performance goals (DPG) for each department in alignment with strategic business and operational plans.
• Conduct monthly reviews with departments on DPGs identifying status, challenges, risks to delivery and recovery plans.
• Perform other functions as assigned by the Senior Staff Engineer, Projects

QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS) Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field is required; Mechanical/Chemical/Civil/Project preferred.

• 5 years of related experience in refining or petrochemical industry LNG experiences a required.
• Ability to program in Excel and Access, VBA desired
• Demonstrated ability to learn new applications quickly.
• Strong technical report writing skills.
• Self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Working Condition

· Four days per week (10 hours per day)
