The Mom Project Hiring for DAST Security Analyst (100% Remote) at Remote Full Time

Our Customer is a consumer financial services company headquartered in Connecticut. The company offers consumer financing products, including credit, promotional financing and loyalty programs, installment lending to industries, and FDIC-insured consumer savings products through the consumer bank, its wholly-owned online bank subsidiary.

We are seeking a DAST Security Analyst on a contract basis to support our customer’s ongoing business needs.

What you’ll do:
Coordinate dynamic code scanning and identification of vulnerabilities associated with the web applications connected to our client’s network.

Analyze vulnerability data and assist with the prioritization and remediation of the identified vulnerabilities commensurate to risk and our client’s application security standard.

Understand vulnerabilities, their impacts, and mitigation techniques, and document and articulate this understanding to various stakeholders.

Triage findings were identified through a Dynamic Code scan, following our client’s procedures to clearly document triage actions.

Configuring, running, and confirming the results of one or more foundational application security scanning technologies, e.g., DAST.

Must Haves:
3+ years experience with Microfocus Webinspect tool or similar tool.

3+ years of experience with dynamic analysis or web application/service testing or manual penetration testing

Communication of research and assessment findings to others including internally (e.g., reports, documentation, training, labs) and externally (e.g., articles, whitepapers, webinars, conferences).

Ability to implement and integrate remediation strategies.

Need someone with in-depth experience w/ Dynamic Scanning and Triage the results.

Need an executor and results orientated.

Not someone who simply has experience looking at logs and scans and pushing a button.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Hours & Location:
M-F, 40 hours/week. This role will be 100% remote.
