D8 Clerk Position

Job Performance Requirements

The incumbent must safely perform all functions associated with the general description and duties as indicated below. The incumbent will be required to have knowledge of operating and safety procedures, SAP, shipping requirements, and personal protective equipment.

a.) Reading/legible writing skills needed: ability to follow written and verbal operating procedures.

b.) Communicate with D8 Small Business Team Leader, D8 Leadperson, receiving clerks, and/or vendors.

c.) Associate must be organized, task-oriented, and self-motivated.

The incumbent is expected to participate in all aspects of the Health, Safety and Environmental Management System and the Quality Management System. The incumbent is expected to comply with all plant procedures, work instructions, and rules related to the efficient and safe operation of the process and the physical performance of their job.

Summary of Job Responsibilities

Activities

• Go to D8 at least twice per shift – once in the morning and later in the afternoon.
• Provide orders/paperwork for the operators to use when loading trucks/totes, including SDS info.
• Keep up with orders and the changing schedules. Update the board outside the D8 lab that shows when trucks are coming in daily.
• Posting the trucks in SAP to document the pounds loaded and input the COA data into the shipment info.
• Enter daily production into SAP. (This one may not be transferred)
• Create labels for totes.
• Prepare samples to be shipped to customers and Akron R&D.
• Order supplies for operations, bring storeroom items over when requested.
• Filing daily logs and paperwork.
