The National Asian Pacific Center on Aging is seeking a senior 55 years of age or older (PL-98-313) to work under the Senior Environmental Employment (SEE) program with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in Seattle, WA.

This position offers a hybrid schedule of in-person and telework.

Job Description:

The National Asian Pacific Center on Aging is seeking candidates 55 years of age and older for the position of Environmental Reviewer/Administrative Specialist with the U.S. EPA Senior Environmental Employment Program.

Qualifications:

– Must be at least 55 years old and U.S. citizen.

– Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to work as part of a team as well as work independently. Work efficiently within the strict deadlines

– Familiar with MS Office applications.

– Preferred experience in Science/Engineering Fields.

Duties/Responsibilities:

– Provide research, policy evaluation and advice in reviewing federal projects and their environmental impact.

– Provide technical and administrative support to EPA staff when performing environmental impact evaluations spanning a variety of project types.

– Perform data entry and record management associated with the environmental review programmatic work.

Benefits: $21.01 per hour, 40 hours per week; Paid holidays, vacation, and sick leave. Program-paid medical insurance and enrollee-paid dental and vision plans available. This position is reviewed annually and may or may not be renewed. EOE
