Job Description
Scope of Position The Department of Nutrition Services administers quality nutritional care and food service operations for all the patients, personnel, and visitors in the OSU hospitals in an efficient and cost-effective manner. The Department coordinates activities to enhance patient and staff satisfaction.
Position Summary The Sales Assistant provides basic point-of-sale customer and inventory assistance for a retail or sales operation of the university (e.g., customer service, cashiering, cleaning, displaying, stocking merchandise on the retail floor). This position in Nutrition Services is responsible for cash and non-cash transactions for goods and services purchases through the Seasons Cafeteria.
Required Qualifications
Must be able to be trained to operate our cash register system. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers and to read and write simple sentences. Must pass physical exam.
Successful candidate selected for this position will receive a $2,000 recruitment bonus. Internal transfers are not eligible.
