Please note that this is a University of Ottawa Medical Associates position. The successful candidate to this vacancy will be an employee of the Department of Medicine and not The Ottawa Hospital.

Basic Requirements

Secondary School Diploma (Grade 12) or equivalent;

Minimum 1 year of previous related clerical/receptionist experience;

Experience using MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Access;

Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task;

Ability to work independently;

Knowledge of general office procedures;

Professional interpersonal and verbal communication skills;

Experience working with and manipulating information in a database;

Comfortable working in a fast paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

College diploma or equivalent combination of education and clerical experience;

Working knowledge of Hospital policies and procedures;

Proficiency in speaking and comprehending both English and French at level B+ is an asset;

Experience using EPIC.
