Our economic and political systems don’t work for working people. Too often, the interests of everyday people are overlooked in our politicians’ decision making. Knowing this, it is critical that we bring people together across the nation to enact necessary change. Join us in ensuring that candidates who support working people are elected to statewide office in the 2022 midterm elections.

The Outreach Team is partnering with WorkMoney to hire Remote Callers to speak to voters across the country and mobilize them to vote in November. You’ll be part of a team of passionate outreach staff who will contact voters via phone calls in 10 key states: Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Nevada, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.

This role is a great opportunity to gain experience in the following areas: Leadership, Communication & Advocacy, Community Outreach & Engagement, Campaign Work, Public Policy, and Social Enterprise.

Locations: Remote

We are hiring immediately, all positions run through November 8 with possibilities for advancement afterwards. Shifts run from 1:45pm – 8:00pm EST weekdays and weekends with the possibility to work part-time or full-time

We have 3 virtual offices: Eastern, Central and Pacific. Shifts run from 1:45pm – 8:00pm EST, 12:45pm – 8pm CST, and 1:45pm – 8:00pm PST.

Caller Responsibilities ($20/hr):

– Engage with the public in a friendly and respectful manner

– Deliver a compelling campaign message, and collect complete survey answers from voters

– Participate in staff training to improve outreach skills

The ideal candidate:

-Passionate about progressive politics and fostering democracy

-Excited about having cross-partisan conversations with voters from across the political spectrum

-Strong communication skills; you should enjoy working with other people and be willing and excited to speak with everyone

-Hard worker who will stay motivated to engage as many people as possible

-Open to new challenges and are interested in building their campaign skills

-Culturally competent and able to respectfully engage with teammates and the community

Prior calling experience is not required.

Pay: $20/hr for calling and $22/hr for Shift Managers. We offer paid training and sick pay. All full-time staff have the option to opt into our company healthcare plan.
