The Queen’s Medical Center Hiring for Visitor Reception Screener (D/E) Job at Honolulu, HI Full Time

• Performs a variety of clerical duties and responsibilities in the Security department.
• Performs duties of a Screener.

II. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Essential: sitting, finger dexterity seeing, hearing, speaking; lifting, pushing/pulling, and carrying usual weight of 1 to 5 pounds.
• Frequent: standing, walking, stooping/bending, climbing stairs, walking on uneven ground, twisting body, reaching above, at or below shoulders, repetitive arm/hand motion and frequent gripping of an object.
• Operates various office equipment such as computer, thermometer, printers, copiers, telephone, facsimile, etc.

III. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Not substantially subjected to environmental conditions.
• Work environment may be busy, hectic and fast paced in a public area.

IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

B. EXPERIENCE:

• Six (6) months general office or customer service experience.
• Experience to demonstrated the following:

o Ability to communicate in English effectively, both orally and in writing.
o Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Outlook).
o Ability to interact effectively with a broad range of people.

• Ability to type 30 wpm preferred.
