RJE Global (RJE) is an Australian-owned engineering and construction company currently delivering a large portfolio of wind, solar, battery storage and conventional power generation projects throughout Australia and Internationally.

At RJE, we understand the value of in-house software solutions, and we pride ourselves on our bespoke tools, purpose built to support our diverse project teams. We are seeking to expand our software development capability and as such a fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Software Developer to join our team.

Reporting to the IT Manager, you will assist with the delivery and maintenance of various internal projects, including:

• Web based Employee Portal including timesheets
• Web based Purchase Order tools
• Web based Quality Assurance system
• QuickBooks integration API
• Project Financial Dashboard
• Company-wide Integrated Management System (MS Access)
• Any other tools that help to streamline the RJEs business processes

You will also be assisting our broader management team with data analysis and business intelligence which will lead to better decision making.

Experience in any of the below will be highly regarded:

• Front-end development with Angular or similar JavaScript frameworks
• Back-end REST API development with Node.js or another server-side stack
• MySQL or other SQL dialect
• Visual Basic for Applications (Access)
• Business intelligence tools (Redash, PowerBI etc.)
• Automated software testing

Those currently studying a relevant degree or recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Flexible arrangements can be made for the right candidate to accommodate ongoing study.

Other desirable knowledge which will help you hit the ground running:

• Understanding of Reactive/Asynchronous code (Observables/Promises)
• Understanding of Redux state management pattern (NGRX)
• Git version control
• Basic Linux server administration

• Good verbal and written English communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work unsupervised

This is an office-based role. Adelaide based applicants, if successful, would be located at our head office in Morphettville. Melbourne based applicants, if successful, would be located at Kindred Studios in Yarraville.
