The Staffing Group Hiring for Typescript Developer – Remote Job at Brisbane, Australia Full Time

About the Role:
Great opportunity to join a new Fintech with major backing/roots and help take the products to the next stage. The groundwork has been done, so this is a chance to really help build out the platform

Permanent role with Bonus, fully remote within Australia (offices in Sydney/Melbs)

The tech stack is modern (GraphQL APIs, Apollo, React Native/Expo app).
Most of the teamwork is remotely and they have a remote-first culture (fully async).

Youll be reporting directly to the CTO and will be a key leader within a growing engineering team helping to shape the goals and culture of this exciting venture.

Key parts of the role include:

• Building out the core product/application using leading TypeScript practices/tools (including typed queries, schema validation, OpenAPI type generation)
• Developing the microservices using Function Apps that power their financial smarts.
• Managing and securing their data and GraphQL API.
• Evolving the DevSecOps practices for shipping quickly and safely.
• Designing and implementing an Azure-native approach to monitoring and security.

What they are looking for

• Youre a strong TypeScript engineer comfortable with type checking, Codegen and tooling in the TypeScript ecosystem.
• Youve had experience building backend services using TypeScript/NodeJS. This includes microservices, serverless functions, queues and event streams.
• Ideally, you have experience with Microsoft Azure especially around the following services: Key Vault, RBAC, Function Apps, Event Grid/Service Bus, Kubernetes, AKS (ACI + KEDA a bonus).
