Summary:

The Structures Company is seeking a Maintenance Data Entry Clerk with experience in using multiple software platforms to transcribe maintenance data into electronic format. Asset maintenance data is crucial to the operation of our assets and helps ensure our compliance to appropriate regulations. This is a contract position at one of the worlds premeir Space Aerospace companies base of operations in Spaceport America / Las Cruces, NM.

Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for entering maintenance log data into an electronic database, aiding Maintenance Support in setting up work packages for Maintenance Execution. The position is also responsible for auditing the electronic database to other truth sources to ensure compliance to the maintenance program. This position:

• Review Engineering Requests (ERs) and other Maintenance Tasks for completion
• Familiar with and working knowledge using Microsoft Project Professional and other Project Management files and functions
  
• Maintain and update Project files as required with completion of daily tasks
• Collects metric data and update reporting database
• Generate reports using Project files, Excel, Power BI and other Microsoft Tools
  
• Other Data Entry Duties as required by the Department and needs

Desired Skills:

• Must have High School diploma or GED
• Must have 2 years’ experience entering data into a database or other file system
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
• Must have working knowledge of computers and general software: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook
• Must be willing to work flexible hours and work any shift, including weekends and be on call

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Associates degree in technical field preferred
• Project Management training or experience preferred
• 2 years of Aerospace Maintenance or Manufacturing experience highly desired.

Physical and/or Additional Requirements:

• Must be highly organized and able to handle stressful situations
• Must be able to sit/stand for extended periods – 8 hours min.
