We are looking for an EA with a strong business advisory focus to support the Deputy Secretary – Financial and Commercial. The Deputy Secretary heads the Financial and Commercial group at Te Tai Ōhanga and is responsible for the New Zealand Debt Management, Financing Infrastructure and Urban Development and Commercial, Performance and Governance.
Kōrero mō te tūranga | About the Role
This role is a hybrid role in which you cover standard EA responsibilities, alongside additional advisory duties for the Dep Sec. You’ll have the opportunity to work closely with the Dep Sec to help set the strategy and priorities for the group, and act on behalf to deliver to them. This role provides a high degree of autonomy and the chance to get further involved in areas of interest.
To be successful in the role, you’ll have a previous track record of achieving results, building positive stakeholder relationships, and showing strategic capability. You’ll possess the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple complex priorities. You will also be a highly organised self-starter, with strong attention to detail and comfort dealing with ambiguity.
