The opportunity | Te Whiwhinga mahi
We are looking for someone to lead, motivate, relate and inspire. You’ll maximise the potential and overall performance of your team by coaching and developing them in areas such as consultative sales behaviours, being able to build successful relationships, having open dialogue to identify and provide solutions to the needs of our prospective students.
The role will require the ability to keep your team engaged, high-performing and consistently delivering high-calibre customer service and lead conversion. The position needs a strong communicator with exemplary leadership and relationship-building skills, who is able to effectively problem-solve and use analytical insights to drive performance improvements for your team, and for the Auckland Online initiative. The position will also require effective facilitative and administrative ability to ensure your team is able to manage high volumes of telephone, email, webchat, social media and online face-to-face interactions.
The role is based on 49 Symonds Street, Auckland City Campus and does involve working shifts of either 8am- 4pm or 10am- 6pm, dependent on requirements. At times you will need to work outside of standard business hours to support our marketing team to deliver Webinars and provide timely follow up to future student questions.

As this is a team lead role in an environment where you are the voice of the University, it is vital you are able to communicate effectively and professionally with everyone that you come in contact with. You will be able to contribute at a strategic level, ensure that key deliverables can be met at each stage, successfully lead, mentor and develop your team to successfully meet your targets. The role will also require you be able to providing reporting information to drive improvements.
