To assist in developing, implementing and managing all eLearning and web-based activities for the Organizational Behavior, Coaching, and Consulting ( OBCC ) program in the Executive Education department of the Jindal School of Management ( JSOM ).
The eLearning Program Manager will provide instructional and program design expertise in support of synchronous and asynchronous online courses for the Master of Science in Leadership and Organizational Development, the MBA in Healthcare Organizational Leadership, and all online certificate programs. This includes working with instructors and program team members to develop and continuously upgrade online learning activities, collaborate with subject-matter experts (SMEs) to develop new online courses, and assist with the setup and management of courses in Blackboard.
-Bachelor’s degree in Educational Technology, Instructional Design, or a related field and a minimum of three years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. -Thorough working knowledge of instructional design models, adult learning theory, educational psychology, learning assessment, and distance education. Experience with a learning management system, Blackboard. -Knowledge and proven application of skills in instructional design, adult learning, accessibility, copyright, and best practices in course development. -Familiarity with various synchronous and asynchronous e-learning tools, such asRespondus, Blackboard Collaborate, Adobe Connect Pro, Echo360, Camtasia, etc. Web design experience, including familiarity with accessibility issues and web. -Three years of demonstrated experience in instructional design and instructional materials development. -Three years of experience training on learning technologies and adult learning/best practices in various environments (one-on-one, small group, large classroom, web-based). -Three years of experience providing technical support, preferably specific to learning technologies.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Five years’ experience in course design, curriculum design or e-learning; experience with graphic and multimedia authoring software including, but not limited to, Camtasia and Articulate, as well as sound editing software; experience with the use of Blackboard in higher education settings and website design software. A Master’s degree is preferred
