The Warehouse Looking for Checkout/Shopfloor Team Members – The Warehouse, Airport (Casual) at Auckland City, Auckland Full Time

The Warehouse is the brand that began it all. Founded in 1982 by Sir Stephen Tindall, the first ‘red shed’ challenged established retailers and proved popular with customers as a result of its simple style, and wide range of products at bargain prices. The Warehouse has become a Kiwi household name, and we proudly recognize the role that we play in communities throughout New Zealand.

We’re looking for people who are customer-focussed with a positive attitude and a great work ethic! As a casual team member your day will be varied with customer interaction, and working in a variety of areas.

All casual roles get involved with most areas of the store so no two days are the same. Loads of variety, people contact and opportunity to learn and progress. We are seeking real team players, with a great attitude and a tonne of initiative to assist our customers with product queries and service.

Our stores are fast-paced environments and you must be keen to dig in where needed to get things done. We need people who like working and sparking conversations with customers, ensuring they have an exceptional experience in store.

Please note this is multiple casual positions to work on an as needed basis – there are no set hours. We operate 7 days a week, 7:00 am to 12:00 midnight, full availability is an advantage.

Ideally you will have:

• Some experience in retail, hospitality or a customer-facing role an advantage
• Excellent communication skills
• A positive, can-do attitude
• The ability to be on your feet for long periods of time
