The Welcome Project Hiring for English Teacher at Remote Full Time

The Welcome Project, alongside the Medford Family Network, provides English classes for Parents of children in the Medford school district in order to improve and enhance their ability to engage in their children’s learning and school success. The English For Parents program includes basic language skills with an emphasis on conversation and focuses on promoting educational engagement, family literacy and self-advocacy. Classes are highly interactive and modeled on principles of participatory education. Teacher will report to the Senior Director of Education and Family/Community Engagement at The Welcome Project.

Job Goal: To provide high quality English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) classes that prepare Medford parents and guardians to engage in their children’s learning and school success.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
