BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

• 7 years minimum experience in a medium to large manufacturing environment (In excess of $100MM in sales)

• Highly skilled in building valued partnerships with stakeholders, communicating effectively, influencing senior leaders, leading change, applying emotional intelligence, assessing talent, and employing automation.

  PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• MBA, CPA and experience in public accounting and/or auditing experience is preferred.

• Strategic change agent with a track record of transforming Finance organizations through people, process, technology in a best practice environment.

• Excellent organizational, project management, and time management skills, including multi-tasking and prioritizing and meeting deadlines, following up, and attention to detail. Adaptable to multiple requests, daily changes and still deliver on commitments.

• Knowledge and experience with Oracle systems

  ABOUT THE JOB

  As the Plant Controller you will partner with the FIberon Business leadership team by providing financial perspective and decision-making support to drive best in class performance. As the Plant Controller you will manage accounting functions for multiple cost centers and be responsible for the financial reporting of Fiberon’s operations, including facilities in New London, NC and Meridian, ID. Additionally, the Plant Controller leads the organization in maintain a strong internal control environment by ensuring compliance with GAAP, SOX and Fortune Brands Accounting Policies and Procedures.

  YOUR ROLE:

• Plan, organize and coordinate all general ledger, fixed asset, inventory control, and manufacturing reporting to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial results

• Reporting and analysis of financial data including understanding business processes, trends and key performance indicators

• Assist in interpretation and resolution of operating variances with operations leadership

• Organize and coordinate annual budget preparation

• Direct physical inventories and ongoing cycle counting program

• Leverage processes and systems to foster accurate and efficient reporting to drive YOY improvements and create a sustainable competitive advantage.

• Provide clarity on variable cost changes and progress toward operations’ continuous improvement initiatives

• Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve productivity.

• Lead in maintaining and improving processes in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley legislation.

• Develop Goals and Objectives for the Fiberon Finance team that support the business needs. Provide ongoing development, coaching, and performance management to the team.
