About the Team

Our User Operations team is focused on bringing a world-class experience to our users. To do this, we’re looking for a sharp and culturally-conscious Quality Assurance specialist to help us ensure consistency in the way we understand local content even when our teams are global.

This role will work in the Ecosystem Labelling team, bringing data quality and accuracy to our video labeling in order to make sure we have a solid grasp of the content on the platform and procure high-quality, useful data to our internal stakeholder teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular quality assessment of content category matches
• Make expert calls on nuances in content understanding and categorization
• Monitor KPIs and metrics to ensure that our processes are sound, and recommend updates and changes when needed to keep our systems relevant
• Identify, define, and document new branches of content to monitor when new trends emerge
• Work with cross-functional managers to ensure that the data we collect is serving our internal stakeholders
• Bachelor’s degree with 0-2 years experience, or High School/GED with 2+ years experience.. Education or experience in media, data, or business a plus.

• Self-motivated. You’re good at finding the next right-move, and aren’t afraid to speak up when you see something fishy. You hold yourself accountable to operate with urgency and embrace ambitious goals.

• Clear communicator. Being detailed but concise is no hurdle for you! You can say what you mean, and mean what you say, in a way that others can internalize quickly.
