Global e-commerce is a content e-commerce business with international short video product as the carrier. Global e-commerce business team hopes to provide users with more tailored, active and efficient consumption experience, enabling merchants to receive stable and reliable platform services in different scenarios such as live e-commerce, short video content e-commerce, so as to make more affordable and high-quality products sell easily and a better life within reach.

The Global E-commerce Trading Center is the link between different domains of global e-commerce. The goal is to ensure the stability of transactions by scheduling different roles. The Trading Center undertakes functions such as shopping cart, order placement, order status transfer, and order query, and provides general transaction capabilities and solutions for global e-commerce business. At the same time, the Trading Center solves the after-sales demands of consumers after purchasing products on the platform and the ultimate after-sales process experience, while improving the service efficiency of merchants and reducing service costs for merchants.

Responsibilities:
– Undertake the core system research and development work of the global e-commerce trading center, deeply participate in the construction of multiple core systems, undertake the design, development and maintenance of the system, and continue to optimize and improve.
– Benchmark the industry, continue to plan to enhance the basic capabilities of the trading center system, and optimize openness and scalability.
– Participate in the construction of multiple core directions in the trading domain, such as trading and after-sales.
– Participate in system internationalization architecture improvement, system stability and high availability construction.
– Explore new business models for global e-commerce.

Qualifications

Requirements:
– Bachelors or higher degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, 3 or more years of work experience.
– Solid basic computer knowledge, strong logical understanding ability and learning ability.
– Ability to provide elegant and efficient design solutions.
– In depth knowledge of common databases and messaging frameworks like MySQL/Redis/Kafka/MQ etc.
– Possess the capabilities of performance optimization, system pressure testing, current limiting and degradation, and sub-database and table sub-segmentation in high-traffic scenarios.
– Positive and optimistic, strong sense of responsibility, serious and meticulous work, good team communication and collaboration skills.
– Love programming, have strong learning ability, have strong thirst for knowledge, curiosity and enterprising spirit, and can pay attention to and learn the latest technology in the industry in time.

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $136800 – $205000 annually.​

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.​
