This is a new and exciting opportunity for the right individual to join our team as Payment Fraud and Support Analyst on a 6 month fixed term basis based in New Zealand.

With our growing involvement in the payments space, we are expanding to add fraud expertise to our team. This role will involve protecting our customers and Timely by reviewing, detecting and mitigating fraudulent transactions and recommending improvements to our Fraud framework.

The successful applicant will have a good understanding of payment fraud and be able to improve general operations and fraud procedures. You will also have strong analytical skills and must be able to maintain and develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Experience in the area of fraud, financial crime or AML would be an advantage, however training and coaching will be provided to the right individual and you will be working with others who have strong fraud, AML and financial crime experience to develop and deepen your skills.

📫 We’d love to hear from you if you…

• Have some experience with payment fraud or using fraud detection tools but this is not essential
• Have an analytical an investigative mindset and can work with a good sense of urgency
• You have a continuous improvement approach and have built or strengthened processes in the past with tangible results
• Have case management experience and can succinctly report on metrics and insights
• Work well with others and have sound stakeholder management skills

• This role is a 6 month fixed term position and can be based anywhere in New Zealand.
• You must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand.
• The interviews for this role will total around 2.5 hours including a fraud scenario task.
